Live streams and earthquake monitoring
Nazca
An earlier experiment connecting live-streaming workflows with earthquake monitoring.
I designed and built this project independently, using my own resources.
01 / Context
The problem behind the project
Earthquake information and live video can provide complementary context when following an unfolding event.
Nazca is retained as an earlier idea connecting live video with earthquake monitoring. It reflects the same operational interest in events and media that later appears in newsroom monitoring and broadcast projects.
02 / Implementation
Design and implementation
I explored that connection in Nazca and documented the idea in a published article.
The public record available for this entry is the historical article linked below. The current repository does not provide a source tree from which to reconstruct a more detailed implementation.
03 / Approach
Engineering decisions
Describe the evidence that remains
The project story is documented in my writing. The public repository is currently empty, so this page makes no claim about an installable implementation.
04 / Evidence
Evidence and outcomes
The article is the evidence for the project concept. This page deliberately separates that historical record from later systems whose implementation and runtime contracts are available.
05 / Current scope
Where it stands
Historical experiment. The public repository currently contains no implementation.
There is insufficient current source evidence to claim a functioning Nazca service, a specific architecture, or measured detection/streaming performance.
